Amazon announced the launch of several new Fire TV Cube line of devices at IFA 2019 in Berlin. The company aims to become the leading provider of streaming hardware in the US, Europe, and globally by offering a broader range of products.
Nebula Soundbar – Fire TV Edition, Fire TV Cube, and new Fire TV Edition The most recent addition to its collection are smart TVs.
Here, we quickly examine these gadgets and how they might affect your Fire TV viewing experience.
The New Fire TV Cube
All the features of the 2019 model are available again in the upcoming 2nd Generation Fire TV Cube, but at a significantly faster pace. An important improvement over the previous model is the Hexa-core processor found in this version of the device.
The shape and size of the new and old models are nearly identical, but there are a few additional improvements that come with the second generation Fire TV Cube. Compared to the 2019 version, the new Local Voice Control performs the most frequently used voice commands substantially more quickly. The new device’s voice control capabilities are improved by the improved far-field voice recognition.
Your viewing pleasure will be enhanced by the new device’s HDR, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos features.
October 10, 2020, will see the release of the new Fire TV Cube. To be among the first to own this innovative new device, you can pre-order it on Amazon.
Like its predecessor, the upcoming Fire TV Cube is priced at £119.99.
Nebula Soundbar – Fire TV Edition
During the 2019 IFA conference, Amazon also unveiled the new Nebula Soundbar with integrated Fire TV. With built-in subwoofers, this soundbar supports 2.1 channels, 4K HDR, and BassUp technology to create a fully immersive cinematic experience.
You can control the features of this Fire TV-enabled Nebula Soundbar with the brand-new Alexa voice remote. Additionally, the remote control integrates your TV’s IR Profile, giving you access to standard TV functions like power and volume.
The Nebula Soundbar not only produces excellent sound but also excellent visual quality thanks to Dolby Vision, HDR, and HDR10+.
If you’d rather not wait for November 21, 2019, Nebular Soundbar – Fire TV Edition is available for pre-order on Amazon.com
Fire TV Edition Smart TVs
To increase the number of Smart TVs that support Fire TV, Amazon has partnered with multiple Smart TV manufacturers. Although some TVs already have Fire TV built in, the selection is small.
There will be a ton of additional Smart TVs with Fire TV integrated in the upcoming months. While many of them will also be available in the US market, the majority will first be available in Europe. In October 2019, the US will see the release of a 65-inch Toshiba TV with Fire TV Edition by Amazon and Best Buy, priced at £599.
Additionally, Grundig, a TV manufacturer based in Germany, has partnered with Amazon. In Austria and Germany, they will jointly launch close to a dozen smart TVs with Fire TV functionality. The first OLED TVs with integrated Fire TV are also the product of this collaboration.
In this race, Roku and Amazon are running neck and neck. Amazon’s attempt to outperform its rivals is evident in the new Fire TV line of devices. Still, I’m looking forward to trying something different with Fire TV. Let’s wait and observe the outcome
